To Demark We Go

This week will be a pretty short! I'm super excited to head to Denmark. I can't wait to meet the people there and preach the Gospel. All the Danes I've met so far are so amazing, I love them so much already! It's going to be a fantastic time and I can't wait to talk to you all about it. My P-Days are now Mondays. Right now I'm on a train headed towards the airport. Our flight is at 2:00pm, and we will be headed to Amsterdam and then to Denmark! It's crazy!!! I'm so excited.

Looking back at my MTC experience, I wouldn't change it for the world. It gave me challenges that were hard, but doable through the Lord. It involved a lot of patience, long-suffering, love and compassion, and it taught me all of that more. I learned a lot of the language. I learned the language of the Spirit. I learned that the little things sometimes count more than the big things, like a warm smile, a loving question, a good conversation. That's what got me through the mtc. My wonderful leaders like President and Sister Edwards helped me so much and met me with so much love. They are fantastic.

I'd like to leave a short thought with everyone, service is amazing. Service is how you reach the hearts of everyone. Doing something nice, saying something nice, loving someone, that is how you get over trials. If someone is getting angry with you, listen. Listen and then understand, don't go quick to anger. Be slow to talk and quick to hear. I've found for me in the MTC, that I needed to just listen and not to get frustrated. You all know me, usually I don't get angry or anything, but instead I hold it in. I just think about it over and over again. But I've found that instead of ruminating over it, I listen to it, I try to take it to heart and remember that I'm improving and theyre improving. After you change it, serve them. Show that you love them and that you're trying to change, whether that be changing exactly what they said, or a simple act of kindness. Love. Serve. Help. Understand. Forgive. Forget. Rejoice.

I love you all and I pray that you all are doing amazing. Have a fantastic week and I will see you next Monday.

Med kærlighed,
Ældste Salisbury
